Challenge
Dr.Max operates 450+ pharmacies in the Czech Republic alone. While e-prescriptions are handled through the national SUKL eRecept system, Dr.Max's internal tools for inventory tracking, stock transfers between branches, and pharmacist workflow management were outdated — relying on nightly batch imports and manual spreadsheets. Pharmacists had no quick way to check cross-branch stock availability, and frequent stockouts of common medications were hurting customer satisfaction.
Solution
We built an internal pharmacy management platform that sits on top of the existing eRecept integration. The system provides real-time inventory visibility across all Czech branches, automated low-stock alerts with suggested transfers from nearby locations, and a pharmacist dashboard showing daily dispensing patterns. An Elasticsearch-powered drug database lets pharmacists quickly look up alternatives and check interaction warnings. Stock replenishment orders are generated automatically based on historical dispensing data and seasonal trends.
