Challenge

Run'n'Fun, a Czech running and fitness retail chain with 12 stores, was outgrowing its WooCommerce shop. The main pain points: online stock counts didn't match physical stores (causing oversells and cancellations), the checkout flow had a 70%+ cart abandonment rate on mobile, and their paper-based loyalty program couldn't be used online. They wanted a modern e-commerce experience without migrating to Shopify — because they needed tight integration with their existing POS system.

Solution

We built a headless e-commerce store with a Next.js frontend and Python backend. The POS integration syncs stock levels every 60 seconds across all 12 locations, so the website always shows accurate availability per store. We added a detailed size guide with brand-specific fit recommendations (based on return data analysis — not AI, just smart data). The loyalty program went digital: customers earn and redeem points both in-store and online using a single account. The mobile checkout was simplified to 3 steps with Apple Pay and Google Pay support.
